OMG I hope so too! I only JUST watched this movie for the first time last weekend and fell hard for these two. The movie might be average at best but the chemistry and the banter between those two characters were what made it for me. Before I knew what was happening, I found myself ridiculously attached to them and wanting to see them work it out (though I understand why it ended the way it did). So yes, props to you for bringing the fanfic!
This was a great little piece. Love the bookending sentences and the focus on Catherine's feelings for Jackie, which I thought was one of the sweetest, most heartbreaking parts of their story. Well done!
