I'm still working on posting my fics to AO3 -- it's gonna take me a while. At first I was doing one a day, then I realized I wrote SEVENTY fics in 2010 (many were drabbles, but still), so I've upped that.

I'm laughing at myself because I did a few "end of the year" meme things, and every year I wrote: "Goal for next year: Back up my fic to AO3."

From 2012:

Do you have any fanfic goals for the New Year?
1. Update LJ with all fic.
2. Update DW with all fic.
3. Update AO3 with all fic.

LMAO. Better late than never, right?

I'm also now realizing that I never posted the majority of fics I wrote for fests and events to my LJ, either. I'm the kind of fanfic author I hate -- I always find it so annoying when I can't find an author's entire back listing of stories. Ah, well, once I'm finished, it's going to be interesting to see just how many HP stories I've done, because I've forgotten a lot of them.

Here's a question: I have one fic that I hate. It's one of those "I should've dropped out of that fest rather than submit it." Do I still archive it for posterity or hope it gets buried?

Lastly, I've been getting a tad more active on Tumblr. I am galacticcoyote because dexstarr was taken, sniff sniff. I still don't "get" tumblr, but I have found some pretty cool stuff there so it balances out feeling like an ancient alien.

I will continue to be on LJ (at least until there are more scary changes), because there's still fandom/friends there.

As an aside, man is it wild to look at your old stuff! I have forgotten 75% of the fic I've written, which is turning out to be enjoyable and interesting, in the "did I really write that?" vein.
